The BAYFLEX team organized the 2024 NOD workshop near PAris. This workshop explored the emerging field of neuromorphic computing using organic materials, focusing on their potential to enable energy-efficient, adaptive AI hardware. Inspired by the brain, Neuromorphic Organic Devices (NODs) offer advantages like flexibility, biocompatibility, and low power consumption—making them ideal for bioelectronics and wearable systems. The workshop also addressed current challenges such as material stability and carrier mobility, highlighting recent advances and fostering interdisciplinary dialogue on the future of organic materials in next-generation AI technologies.Participants contributed to a new NOD roadmap, currently under review.
