Compact models – OTFTs

We have developed compact models that are able to describe the low voltage behavior of the OTFTs in both GEN1 and GEN2 devices. To ensure that the models are robust for circuit simulations the URV and CNRS groups have worked in tight collaboration with several student exchanges.

Compact empirical models – OECTs

We have developed compact empirical models to describe the behavior of OECT devices. We are developing a transient model able to account for the hysteresis, which is key to the classification task.

Surrogate model – OTFTs

We also developed a surrogate model of the OTFTs using a multilayer perceptron model in order to take into account the impact of the hysteresis

Models – circuits

These models were used to demonstrate that despite the inhomogeneities and hysteresis in the transistors, our design strategy was viable and enables us to develop circuit.

Circuit simulations

We have developed a complete organic circuit that is able to detect the probabilities of different sleep stages. Shown here is the result of circuit simulations that indicate how stage 2 and stage 3 sleep can be detected by the voltage red across a capacitor. Further details will be posted soon.
